The Prospect Old Church Association is a non-profit volunteer-run society that wants to ensure the former Catholic Church and Hall at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada remain in the community - and continue to be a central part of the village's social life, but now with a new cultural mandate.
You can support the work of POCA by donating and helping us with our efforts. There are multiple ways for you to contribute financially to the preservation and restoration of the old church and hall - and you'll get a token of our appreciation back in return!
We use PAYPAL in order to accept and track our donations. You don't need a Paypal account to donate to POCA.
Donating to POCA is very easy...

Our t-shirts are hand painted with an actual stencil from the 1800s that was used to mark Boxes of fish sold outside of the community. Wear a bit of history!
There are four main ways to donate to POCA:
1. One-Time Online Donation

2. Monthly or Recurring Online Donations
You can support POCA on a monthly basis by donating a small amount each month to ensure we have the resources we need on a regular basis to achieve our goals. You can cancel this recurring donation whenever you want by logging into your paypal account, or notifying us at our email address below.
3. Donation by Cheque or Cash
You can also make a donation by cheque or cash. If you are making a donation by cheque please make it payable to "Prospect Old Church Association" and email us for the address: prospectvillagers@gmail.com
4. Pledge a Pew for Prospect
We will honor each $1,000 donation with a commemorative plaque placed on the pew of your choice.
